Homage to Matisse, Magritte, and Ernst

This homage to Matisse, Magritte, and Ernst was a process emerging  from an abstract monochromatic, stone-like background to a shaded tapestry  where a reclining, Matisse-like,  figure emerged and was transformed into a surrealistic presentation (see sequence of pictures on the right). This  is a mixed-style statement of development and passage through time. The  elements that make-up this composition are weaved together in layers to  become surreal.
