This is an expressionistic oil painting on a hand-crafted Gesso base on acid-free  carton. 

The model sitting on a cube is painted from a side-view, looking  away from the painters point of view.

I deliberately limited my color pallet to very basic earth-tones to emphasize the structure and mass.
