Two figures in the doorway

This is a very special painting created in 1986 while at the academy of art in Düsseldorf.

Here, I used layers of paper bound by bees wax and painted over with oil pastel. On the other side of the painting I have painted an outline in white. see photo on the right.

This painting is translucent and will have a very special effect if framed between two slides of glass.
